Located in the village of Orphir on mainland Orkney,
Orkneylodge is modern, all one level, house with free on-site parking. It is a 1
minute walk from Houton Orkney Ferry Terminal. Each of
the rooms at Orkneylodge include a flat-screen TV with
many channels and an en-suite shower room. Guests can
enjoy a sea view or garden view from all our front rooms
and Grindley Castle and Farm land from the rear of our
building.
We
started to upgrade our showers, sinks and tiling in
all bathrooms in September 2018. Our new showers are
all electric.
We have
redecorated all our rooms and added new dark out
blinds, luxury bedding and towels and soft
furnishings all of which are hand made.
We have
replaced all double beds with luxury super king beds, large luxury head boards and lovely new
furniture to go with our lovely luxury Axminster
carpets. All twin rooms now have two double beds.
We have
doubled our
occupancy by creating new rooms and making
more twin rooms available through making
existing rooms
larger enabling them to take the luxury super king beds.
We finished our
refurbishment in July 2019 and have just been graded
4 star guest house by Visit SCOTLAND in August 2019
